Adrift in D’Bay
Embark on a captivating journey through time and place with Adrift in D’Bay.
Demonstrating the profound art of storytelling, this unique show celebrates Deception Bay’s history, stories, community spirit and commitment to family.
Renowned local storytellers, Gail Robinson and Bettina Nissen, will enchant audiences with stories, folktales and local mythology, while their colleague Anne E Stewart narrates the journey.
We are pleased to announce that we will be joined by Aunty Sharon Mirri Bell (as seen on Playschool) for songs along the journey and from our multicultural community we welcome the Pasifika ukulele troupe to round off the adventure.
This project is supported by the Regional Arts Development Fund, a partnership between the Queensland Government and City of Moreton Bay to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.
