Anywhere Theatre Festival Limited (aka Anywhere Festival) has worked with over 577 partners since 2011, providing an estimated $13.7m in benefits through leveraged branding, introducing new customers, providing added value for existing customers and networking opportunities.
Financial Partners and Supporters
For eight years, Anywhere Festival has worked with the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland to create opportunities for local independent artists to present work, to demonstrate how the arts can add value to local businesses and provide incredible experiences anywhere but a theatre. More than just financial support; the team at Arts Queensland have consistently encouraged us to strive for better governance, growth and to hone our creative business model to make Anywhere Festival better than it otherwise could be.
This initiative has received investment by Arts Queensland and the Tim Fairfax Family Foundation through the Arts Business Innovation Fund.
We are proudly supported by Brisbane City Council to deliver the 2021 Anywhere Festival. The festival “illustrates the inclusiveness and uniqueness of Brisbane’s communities and the lifestyle and leisure opportunities on offer.”
The Anywhere Festival Ipswich program is co-funded by Ipswich City Council and the Regional Arts Development Fund. The Regional Arts Development Fund is a partnership between the Queensland Government and Ipswich City Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.
We are proudly supported by Moreton Bay Regional Council to deliver the first Anywhere Festival in the region in May 2021.
We are proudly supported by the Sunshine Coast Council’s Grant Program to deliver the 2021 Anywhere Festival. The Sunshine Coast is one of Australia’s premier tourist destinations offering a laid-back lifestyle centred around pristine beaches, freshwater rivers and lakes, subtropical forests and warm sunshine.
We are also very excited to be supported by Noosa Council to deliver Anywhere Festival in the Noosa Region in May 2021. Situated at the northern tip of Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, Noosa Shire covers an area of 871km2 and is home to more than 54,000 people and was re-established as a local government on January 1, 2014.

Communify is an independent, profit-for-good organisation. Locally-based, it provides opportunities for people, whatever their stage of life, to join activities that are interesting, stimulating and who support an active, healthy and socially connected life. This year we have partnered with Communify so artists can access free rehearsal space and reduced rates on other spaces as well as including some of the amazing activities that happen every week.
