The Wawahine Lounge

Fairfield, Queensland 4103 Australia

The Wawahine Lounge is an inner-south tiny tiki bar masquerading as a backyard shed. Please feel welcome to bring a bottle of wine to enjoy with your friend’s pre and post-show. Running concurrently with the concerts is an exhibition of hand-carved tikis by artist Tiki Stacey.

Getting there

Located in the inner-south suburb of Fairfield, the venue is easily accessed by public transport including the 196 bus, with stops just a minute’s walk from the venue.  Please note that Dutton Park and Fairfield Train stations are currently closed. There is ample street parking available.

What you’ll find there

A very cozy space jam-packed with great vibes and lots of things to look at, warm hospitality, somewhere to keep your drinks cold and vessels to sup from. The back of the room is covered, but open to the elements, so if it’s chilly, bring something to stay warm.  The concerts are seated.
