D.I.V.E. Theatre Collective is a Sunshine Coast-based multicultural contemporary theatre company that provides performing arts experiences of the highest calibre for audience members who come to see our shows, artists in search of purposeful development opportunities, school students and the community who participate in our training program and engagement activities.

We are a dynamic ensemble dedicated to pushing the boundaries of traditional theatre through innovative storytelling and immersive experiences. With a commitment to diversity and inclusion, D.I.V.E. Thanks to the visionary support of the Sunshine Coast Council Creative Industries Investment Program, Anywhere Festivals is thrilled to announce D.I.V.E Theatre Collective as one of the creatives Supported by Anywhere Festivals—a groundbreaking new initiative designed to elevate creative work beyond the conventional.

Proposed Project

Identity is a multidisciplinary, immersive theatre production that explores human identity and belonging. The show features a blend of theatre, dance, visual art, and multilingual storytelling, incorporating Brazilian, Irish, Chinese, and Colombian influences.

What makes Identity unique is its interactive format—there is no stage or seating. Instead, audience members move freely around the performance space, allowing them to actively engage with the performers and the narrative in a non-traditional theatre setting.
