Award winning filmmaker, performer, speaker and writer Sarah Walton will charm your socks off with her Inspirational StandUp Romantic Comedy one woman show with a fun 80s & 90s music theme! Proudly sponsored by Arts Queensland & The City of Gold Coast, and previously performed at The Melbourne Fringe Festival, this show is also in the works as an adapted screenplay.

Love Junkie is a funny, uplifting romantic comedy hero’s journey romp following Sarah’s true life stories as a sensitive dag with badass aspirations on her quest for Whitney Houston worthy higher love as she explores her sexuality, travels from Australia to Hollywood, triumphs over her trauma and transforms from love junkie to self love ninja!

You’ll not only laugh, you may cry, and you’ll learn secrets to transmuting “mental health opportunities” into more love, joy, and the Best Sex of Your Life! You’ll leave feeling inspired to fulfil your dreams and dance in the street on your way home!

Sarah has worked in Melbourne, Sydney, London and Los Angeles in film, TV, & theatre. She is known for her heartfelt, hilarious and unique Romantic Comedy style with a twist – bringing heart and humour to heavy subjects #RomComic. Sarah has put on shows at the Melbourne Fringe Festival and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. She has been nominated for best supporting actress at the 168Hr Film Festival, won best BTS film, she has won public speaking contests, performed StandUp, Sketch and Improv in comedy clubs in Los Angeles and Melbourne, her films have been officially selected for film festivals all over the world incl. The Burbank Film Fest, and she placed as a finalist in the PAGE Int. screenwriting competition. She’s currently in the process of selling and making her first feature film – a Christmas movie with an Oscar winning actress/producer. Sarah has her Masters in Writing & Directing, from the prestigious VCA (Hons).
