Join Our Board

Anywhere Theatre Festival Limited is a Brisbane based not-for-profit company with a vision to propel a world-wide trend for exciting, engaging, passionate performance regardless of access to traditional theatres.

We are always on the look out for people who are passionate about our mission, have a range of experiences and backgrounds and can back them up by making a contribution to our board and to the people we support..

We do things differently, from board meetings by the river, to responsive decision making that doesn't have to wait for a meeting, to the friendly and collaborative environment amongst the board members.

We want people who can question, provide advice and are able to also influence others to contribute to making the festival better and making a difference for artists and communities..

The Anywhere Theatre Festival Limited Board meets 4-6 times a year with an Annual General Meeting held in October or November.

The board includes up to eight people. All meetings are run from Brisbane with teleconference for people outside of Brisbane.

After receiving an application and cv, we will organise to have a chat with you.

The board will consider the existing skills, your fit and will then invite you as a guest to a board meeting.

After that meeting, the board will make a decision to invite you to nominate for a role at our Annual General Meeting or to join at another point of the year.
