The Return

 

Presented by Beetle Miyela

A musical offering to guide one back to the love within.

The Return is a 60 minute musical journey, leading viewers on a hypnotic adventure through deep forests, singing with the spirits of the trees and crossing vast oceans.

The work harnesses the collaborative power of space, sound and movement to invite the audience on a transformative, creative experience.

The performance consists of multiple dancers, using Butoh inspired movements. Sustainable, spacial art installations, including Faery Portals, by Shani Bidwell and Bonaluga Art, Bonnie Connelly. Costume design by Paper Maker, Kanako Enokida. Musical accompaniment by Julia Beiers. Tea service by Caleb Janniste and soundscapes, song, storytelling by Beetle Miyela.
