Edgar Xavier

Presented by Labyrinthian Writings and Music

A Peripatetic Drama on the Shores

For a limited time, across the first weekend of the festival. Northshore Riverside Park Beach will be transformed into a large space; for which the world of Edgar plays out in this work of Total Theatre. Where Chorale Music, Dance and Physical Theatre intermixed.

During a village gathering, a long-haired boy appears awash on the beach, and is barely moving towards the hills. After some help from The mayor and villagers, the boy now known as Edgar is accepted into the village as Edgar, in spite of the reservations of other villagers. But an incident eventually estranges him from the village. Leaving him wondering, to find meaning above the surface.
