Dates announced for 2025 Anywhere Festival Brisbane!
The highly anticipated 15th Anywhere Festival will return in 2025, running from 18 July to 3 August, transforming unexpected spaces across Brisbane into stages for exciting, innovative performances.
Celebrating its fifteenth year, the festival will bring theatre, music, comedy, and more to laneways, homes, parks, and local businesses, continuing its mission to make performances accessible and engaging for all.
Since its inception, Anywhere Festival has captivated audiences by pushing the boundaries of traditional performance, encouraging creators to think beyond conventional venues. Whether it’s a rooftop, a swimming pool, or a heritage building, Anywhere Festival has created a space for art to thrive anywhere.
Artistic Director and Founder Paul Osuch says the festival continues to grow and evolve, and the 2025 edition will be the most exciting yet.
For fifteen years, Anywhere Festival has been about connecting people through art, no matter the space or place. We’re thrilled to continue that tradition in 2025, giving audiences the chance to discover amazing performances in the most unexpected locations. It’s all about making arts experiences accessible to everyone, regardless of budget or background,” said Osuch.
“This year’s festival will also have a renewed focus on collaboration with local communities and artists, amplifying their voices and stories through our unique platform.”
With the 2025 dates set, artists and performance makers will be invited to express their interest in being part of the festival’s bold and diverse program from 1 November 2024. Anywhere Festival aims to support emerging and established artists by giving them the freedom to create without the constraints of a traditional theatre environment.
Since the festival began in 2011 it have enabled and helped realised thousands of performances that the makers of the work tell us would not have happened and found an audience without Anywhere Festival.

Anywhere breaks down barriers and silos everywhere with a festival happening where people live an breath, with a festival that embraces all performers – young, old, male, female, local, queer, First Nations, differently abled – including Screech Arts, part of CPL – Choice, Passion, Life, a disability support organisation that works with people with disability to live the life they choose and have been part of the festival several times..
