FESTIVAL COUNTDOWN:

WELCOME

For the tenth year, Anywhere Festival once again takes temporary possession of everyday and extraordinary places to present an intimate discovery of places and performances.

Discover performances in gyms, underground reservoirs, backyards, ferry stops, rooftops, warehouses, cafes, trams, parks and heritage homes.  Online, virtual and both at the same space and time. Performances. Anywhere.

Music, theatre, circus, spoken word, cabaret, comedy, magic, walking tours and immersive works.

No other festival connects audiences, locations and shows with local nooks and crannies in quite the same way.

MEET PAUL OSUCH A MESSAGE FROM THE FOUNDER

May in Brisbane is Anywhere Festival. The tenth year of Anywhere Festival. If you are hearing about us for the first time, welcome!

To everyone who waits for May and Anywhere time, we're so very excited to be back in 2021 after a year that saw us working with independent artists to present anytime and anywhere except May as we charted a course for performance makers to perform and still get paid while all the traditional venues were closed.

"This is hands-down our actual fave performing arts festival of the year."

Nothing Ever Happens In Brisbane.com

"I discovered local nooks and crannies that not even the locals knew existed!"

Dave H. (Audience member)

"Anywhere Festival is THE place to discover local performances before they become big and see in weird locations once they are ;-)"

Vanessa J (Audience member)
