Lunch Friend

On a typical day, you’ll find Lunch Friend somewhere in a corner of the playground with a sandwich in one hand and an apple core in the other, ready to play Fairies and Dragons, or some strange iteration of tag. This is all metaphoric of course, because in reality they’re not children, or a children’s theatre collective, they’re a very serious theatre collective who makes very serious theatre. They’re also adults.
Lunch Friend is currently comprised of two adults; one is Jordon Riley, who is a director, facilitator and loves a good brownie, and the other is Blake Hohenhaus, who is a writer, dramaturg and can finish a box of Jatz by itself without any help. These serious artists and their serious collective are seriously dedicated to creating and boosting new local theatre work, building a strong and vibrant theatre community and finding new ways to engage new audiences with excellent, silly and exciting art.
