Perform anywhere but a theatre – backyards, lounge rooms, pools, mazes,  cafes, galleries, libraries, streets -from 14 May to 5 June.

Expressions of Interest for Moreton Bay open 8 November and Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and Noosa open 20 November and close 5pm Wednesday 15 December.

Expressions of interest can be for any genre of performance anywhere… but a theatre.

Expressions of interest will be evaluated as they arrive until the festival is full of really cool ideas or by 15 December, whichever happens first.

There is no cost to express interest and you can enter more than one idea or talk to us first about your ideas.. 

Once your expression of interest has been given the thumbs up, you have until mid February (dates vary by region) to work with us to lock in all your show, venue and scheduling details.

All confirmed shows receive an estimated $7,025 of support from Anywhere Festival through local specific print and online program and marketing, creative development support, industry and local networks, Anywhere Awards eligibility, permitting for public spaces, tools and access to the broader festival network a much more. We ask for a $295 contribution from all confirmed shows which can be paid up front in stages or as part of your box office % at the end of your run in the festival.
