Located in the Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-the, the Planetarium is home to the Cosmic Skydome – a 12.5-metre-diameter projection dome.

 

Getting There

The Planetarium is five kilometres from the Brisbane city centre and sits within the Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha, Mt Coot-tha Road, Toowong. Free parking is available in the gardens.

Alternative parking may be available at J.C. Slaughter Falls carpark (Mt Coot-tha Reserve, off Sir Samuel Griffith Drive) and Anzac Park surrounds (170 Mt Coot-tha Road).

Some public transport options are available, with Mt Coot-tha Rd at Botanic Gardens, stop 19 situated just outside the Botanic Gardens.

The Planetarium is home to the Cosmic Skydome – a 12.5-metre-diameter projection dome. Situated in the Mount Coot-tha Botanic Gardens – Queensland’s premier subtropical botanic gardens. They are a key attraction in the Brisbane City Council Mt Coot-tha precinct.
