Servitude: Service with Attitude Part of the 2022 Brisbane Anywhere Festival
Have you ever worked in a customer service setting such as retail or hospitality? Have you ever experienced remarkable customer service? If your answer is YES, this show is for you!
Servitude: Service with Attitude is an immersive theatre production which invites the audience to sit and watch as snippets of their best, worst and most interesting customer service stories inspire a unique and entertaining improvised show.
Pigasus Productions will apply their successful formula (debuted at 2021 Anywhere Festival’s Transit Tales) to a new relatable setting.
Reviewers of Transit Tales said it was:
· “A Little Improv Gem” Catherine Lawrence
· “A perfect introduction into improvised theatre for young and old alike” Janey Birks
· “A raw display of impulsive decisions in a form that breaks away from the traditional structures of theatre.” Georgia McKenzie
Servitude will be performed in Vulture St Espresso’s lush garden courtyard (a new location for seasoned Anywhere Festival theatre goers).
Ticket price ($20) includes a hot drink to enjoy during the show and a 15% discount voucher for a return visit.
Michael Jell, Noelle Greenwood, Sabina Nowak, and Patrick Doolan are the experienced improvisers who will be crafting engaging stories about the joys and perils of the customer service industry. Sabina is also the producer behind Pigasus Productions.
Vulture St Espresso is accessible by wheelchair users, and animal companions are welcome.
Performances will be held on the last two Sundays of the festival, 15 and 22 May. Arrive at 2pm to get settled with your coffee and discreetly share your customer service stories with performers prior to show’s commencement.
When: 2pm Sunday 15 & 22 May 2022
