You are ready to go for Stage 2 and be part of the finalised 2025 Brisbane Anywhere Festival program!
As you already know, we have split the standard $295 participation fee into two that has remained unchanged since 2011 (except for 2024). We’ve done this to make it easier for you to spread the costs and also to acknowledge that the work we do with you confirming for the program is equal to the work after the point including and wrapping up the festival and you show.
Stage 1 was about developing your idea into a full concept, workshops, access to resources, venue guidance and being in a position to commit to being part of the 2025 Brisbane Anywhere Festival program.
Stage 2 is confirming you are in the program and involved all the things you get from now on in, including:
- Ongoing support from the Anywhere Festivals team from now until the festival.
- Show details (as per this draft) in the Print Program distributed around Brisbane and up to 50 copies for you
- Set up on the Anywhere Festival box office system with reporting of sales, ability to set up coupons, add additional performances and more
- Artist Pass to see other shows at special prices.
- Location banners for you show location
- Availability of technical gear through Anywhere Festival
- Consideration for Anywhere Festival Reviewers and Photographers
- Eligibility for Anywhere Awards
IMPORTANT CHANGE. We had said there would be a variable rate depending on seats / 100 – the feedback we’ve received is that it is too confusing. The intention was to vary the price depending on the size of the show, so that a busking show had a lower barrier of entry than a show doing four shows to 100 people per night.
Instead, we’re breaking it into two simple options based your total audience capacity across ALL performances.
- 80 or under | $115 or four instalments of $31.50
- Over 80 | $150 or four instalments of $40
This means everyone is paying less or equal to the same ol’ amount from the first 2011 festival and you can pay it in instalments (works out to be a little more for the privilege)
Now it is time to confirm Stage 2: Rehearse, Market and Present in the Festival
Once your show concept, location and details are ready lock in for the print and online program with a sliding amount based on the number of ticket to sell. We’ve done this to make it easier for small scale one off shows – particularly back yard gigs – to be part of the festival and to provide the level of support required for bigger shows. This is $85 for 50 seats + $50 / every 100 seats of capacity.

Refund Policy
There are no refunds. We have broken up the process into Stage 1 and 2 so that you get the benefits of each Stage immediately. Stage 1 provides the resources to get your concept ready for the print program. If you decide not to proceed to Stage 2 for whatever reason, you still continue to get access to the resources, artist pass, workshops, etc.
