Message from the Mayor of Noosa, Councillor Clare Stewart

Council is once again proud to support the delivery of the Anywhere Festival across the Noosa Region.  It’s terrific to see the use of everyday spaces in extraordinary ways for such unique experiences, celebrating the collaboration between local business, Council and artists. 

This Festival is a great excuse for people to gather, especially after waiting two years for the return of the full Festival program.  I encourage audiences to support the Arts sector and our local hospitality businesses who were so affected by COVID closures, by attending the 2022 Festival. 

The locations include a cabaret bar in Noosa Junction, a Mothers’ day music event at “Alba by Kuruvita” and Shakespeare by the Lake at our beautiful Botanic Gardens in Cooroy. 

As we get back to ‘new normal’, it will be great to see audiences supporting local businesses and performers through this inspiring festival.”
