Join the Anywhere Festivals board of directors

Anywhere Theatre Festival Limited (aka Anywhere Festivals) is seeking passionate and experienced individuals to join its Board of Directors.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a thriving festival that supports artists and communities in innovative ways.

The Festival, renowned for staging performances in non-traditional spaces, is looking for board members who are aligned with its mission and bring a range of diverse experiences. Ideal candidates will be able to actively contribute, question, provide valuable advice, and help influence key decisions that will enhance the festival’s reach and impact.

“Our board does things a little differently,” said Michael Peterson, Chair of the Anywhere Theatre Festival Ltd Board. “From board meetings by the river to quick, responsive decision-making that doesn’t wait for the next meeting, we believe in a collaborative and friendly environment where everyone’s voice is heard.”

The Anywhere Theatre Festival Board meets 4-6 times a year, with an Annual General Meeting held in November. The board consists of up to eight members, with meetings held in Brisbane, and teleconferencing available for those outside the city.
