Winner of the festival’s Music Award in 2024, and nominated again in 2025, the Record Parlour gang are dusting off the turntable and opening the doors for an evening of musical reminiscing, Ladysinger style.

Anje West isn’t quite done yet with (over)sharing memories of her halcyon 1970s AM radio days, or her musical stumble into young-womanhood. It’s a pass-the-parcel of delights, unwrapping the layered harmonies of a family-gathering singalong, smash-hits, album cuts, a NSFW one-hit wonder, and a sail down the river on a yacht called Rock.

    Please feel free to bring something to drink pre and post-show. The bar fridge will be made available to you to store beers and wine, and drinking vessels and soft beverages will be provided. There'll be a few nibbles, but please also be welcome (if it's your thing), to bring a plate to share with your fellow music-lovers for each evening's little post-show soiree. For pre-show dinners: Osteria Epoca is a great Italian restaurant at Yeronga, and Boo's Kitchen at Wooloongabba, next to the Princess Theatre, is our go-to for beautiful Thai food.
