At its crux, language determines a lot of how we process ideas, emotions, and values and beliefs. Music is a medium that allows us to experience and think about these things more deeply, and often in its own language mimics these ideas. It covers the spectrum of clear dialectical conversation to multidimensional intertwined thought processes.
Through this concert program, we unpack how music exposes these boundaries and invites audiences to contemplate the power of these rhetorical boundaries.
