Originals & Influences is an intimate night of music and storytelling exploring the songs that shaped a band. Australian classics sit alongside soulful, groove-driven originals, with stories shared along the way. Inspired by Paul Kelly, Ian Moss, Diesel and The Badloves, promising the audience something familiar, something unexpected and a night they won’t soon forget.

Deon Powter Band (DPB) is a genre-hopping force of nature that’ll restore your faith in live music. With stories of love—for ourselves, each other, and the planet we share—this band hits you right in the heart while your feet can’t help but move.

Front-man and songwriter Deon Powter leads the charge with guitar work that’s equal parts tasty and inventive, paired with vocals that can swing from tender to powerful in a heartbeat. DPB’s sound refuses to be boxed in, weaving through rock, pop, blues, funk, and soul like they own every genre they touch.

The band’s chemistry is undeniable, with all four members blending their voices in lush 4-part harmony. Charles Eddy locks down the pocket on drums with tight rhythms that never quit. Cory Olsen holds it down on bass with rock-solid grooves that you feel in your chest. And Ryan Krarup brings the magic on keys and organ, adding sparkle, texture, and those moments that make you go “wait, what was that?”

DPB’s live show is where it all comes together—dynamic, electric, and impossible to ignore. You’ll dance. You’ll smile. You’ll leave feeling like the world just got a little brighter.
