This is the only performance!
What’s the obvious move for a man who’s been singing and playing guitar for nearly forty years? Create a show for piano, of course!
If last year’s Good Songs; Bad Luck! was about celebrating the past, I Don’t Want To; Why Should I? is all about coming to terms with the present in order to face the future. In collaboration with the prodigiously talented Ben Marshall, Indy presents eleven new songs arranged for voice, piano, and cello.
Shaped by rage, resignation, and resilience, this new set explores the things we do just to get through the day. So, if you’ve ever stopped, looked around, and wondered what on earth you’re doing, you’ll understand. Melodic, thoughtful, thought-provoking; there’s life in the old dog yet!
