CLUTTER: an intimate dive into the double-edged camaraderie you can only get from your siblings.

Media Release: For immediate release

Mum’s just died.
Your sisters continue to suck.
It’s time to finally clear up this mess.

See Clutter: an intimate dive into the double-edged camaraderie you can only get from your siblings. Coming this July to Brisbane, QLD

Pippy Productions proudly presents Clutter, an unabashedly honest glimpse into the delicate inner workings of three adult sisters in the immediate aftermath of their beloved Mum’s death.

Karmen (Cassie Baan) has pulled an all-nighter, not entirely displeased to have begun sorting her Mum’s belongings alone. Frustration only grows as Kip (Lia Hope) arrives full of middle-sister concern, followed all too soon by eldest Katrina (Naomi Thompson) – who seems to have quite the specific agenda in mind. The sisters fall into sorting the clutter, inadvertently unearthing long-forgotten keepsakes… and all the words they’ve been keeping to themselves.

The brain child of writer-director Kaela Gray, Clutter is a testament to the agony and unexpected humour that can accompany grief. This love letter to sibling exasperation plays out in a sandstone cellar setting, beautifully capturing the intimate world of the family loungeroom.

Following a fantastic maiden voyage season on the Gold Coast, Clutter is heading up the M1 to make its Brisbane debut as part of Anywhere Festival 2025.
