Message from the Mayor of Sunshine Coast, Councillor Mark Jamieson

Once again, I am delighted that Sunshine Coast Council is able to support the Anywhere Festival through our Community Grants Program. 

This festival, which places unique creative experiences in unexpected places and spaces, contributes to the strong creative ecology we are nurturing on our Sunshine Coast.  

The Anywhere Festival embodies the vision of the Sunshine Coast Arts Plan.

We must continue to support the creatives among us and keep this sector thriving. Festivals bring our community together, which is particularly essential in these times.  

The 2022 program includes activities in The Met (Maroochydore City Centre), Nambour Aquatic Centre, an artist studio in Coolum and the Montessori School at Forest Glen.  

I encourage you to attend events from our hinterland to the Coast and celebrate all our sustainable, healthy, smart and creative region has to offer.
