Welcome to the 2025 Anywhere Festival, where all of Brisbane becomes a stage.

Where else can audiences experience such a distinctive line-up of events and performances in everyday locations – from comedy in an Annerley op shop and dance performances in a New Farm townhouse to a campfire jamboree in an old paint factory at Yeronga?

The Anywhere Festival is an important incubator of emerging talent and new work that connects artists and communities, while helping to build capacity and experience within the arts and cultural sector.

This year, 603 of the 617 artists featured across the program are Queenslanders, with the event presenting live music, theatre, cabaret, comedy, circus, dance and more than 42 new works across almost 250 free and ticketed events. 

Inclusivity and accessibility remain at the heart of the Anywhere Festival, with a program that celebrates and shares the diverse backgrounds, cultures and stories of festival artists with audiences of all ages and abilities.
