The long-awaited sequel to the play and film All My Friends Are Leaving Brisbane.
Anthea is returning to Brisbane after more than a decade away in London. She tries to pick up her old life but everyone else seems to have moved on, including her former best friend Michael, who is now married with a child.
All My Friends Are Returning to Brisbane is a comedy about coming home, and discovering that some things change while other things remain the same. This is the play’s world premiere season, following its sell-out reading at Brisbane Fringe in 2022. One week only.
“The work is very funny, in its familiarity as much as its hyperbole. Time and time again performers are paused by waves of audience laughter” – Blue Curtains Brisbane
Written and directed by Stephen Vagg
Starring Simon Chugg, Tim Jackman, Marcus Oborn, Jaz Robertson, Sharnee Tones, Tammy Tresillian, Willem Whitfield from a rehearsed reading at 2022 Fringe Brisbane Festival directed by Paul Osuch.
