Constructed of brick with a tile roof, this substation mirrors the domestic architecture of the early twentieth century with roof gables on opposing faces of the building. Woolloongabba’s beautifully renovated local heritage Substation (1928) has concrete floors and exposed (indoor) brick feature walls. Located in the trendy Woolloongabba café and restaurant precinct, making it perfect for a huge range of creative activities from art exhibitions, dance, drama, markets, and small group activities.
Getting there
Located south of the Gabba Stadium, public buses along Jurgen Street will provide efficient access to the venue location only a few minutes away from the destination. Street parking can be accessed along the shopping district of Logan Road, slightly north of the venue location.

The space’s primary use is as a function space to hold all types of events, from birthdays to creative junctions. The refurbished architectural design provides a spectacular atmosphere for all types of events to take place.
