The captivating Red Box is a particularly unique venue. The space is encased in floor-to-ceiling windows, giving the impression of being suspended over the Brisbane River. Providing an absolutely stunning location set against the dramatic city skyline at night, the Red Box is a hidden treasure and the perfect space for intimate, high-impact events.

 

Getting there

The State Library of Queensland is located between the Queensland Australian Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA) and Queensland Art Gallery (QAG) along with the Brisbane Museum. An abundance of transport options from trains to buses all surround the popular attractions of Brisbane City.

What you’ll find there

The state library displays and records all arrays of books and information regarding anything and everything that is physically sourced to the general public of Brisbane. Surrounding it are the spectacular Art Galleries and colossal theatre spaces that showcase all forms of art and creative practice of international or national renown.
