City Botanic Gardens

Alice Street
Brisbane, Queensland 4000 Australia

Located in the heart of Brisbane, the City Botanic Gardens is Queensland’s oldest heritage garden.

Steeped in Brisbane history, the riverside park spans 18 hectares and 1.2 kilometres of river frontage. It’s home to heritage, exotic and native plants and trees.

With a children’s playground, café and a calendar of events and activities, the City Botanic Gardens promises a fun day out for all ages.

The Bear Truth will be performed in the Rainforest Hideaway, a clearing in a wooded area in the Gardens. It’s the closest thing to the woods this side of the river! To find the Rainforest Hideaway – start at Riverstage and walk down the path along the river into the Gardens. It’ll be on the left (you can’t miss us) but there will be signs and ushers in case you get lost! Wheelchair accessible. No BYO drinks. Audience will be seated on the floor, but some chairs will be available – please note if a chair is needed with your ticket purchase.
