Discover your next day out at the scenic Bribie Island Seaside Museum. Located close to the waterfront and overlooking the iconic Pumicestone Passage, this museum celebrates the rich and fascinating history of Bribie Island.
Bribie Island Seaside Museum features:
- stories from First Nations elders video archive
- a theatre showing films about the famous S.S Koopa (1180-1953)
- a large collection of preserved fish from Moreton Bay waters, dating back to 1905
- stories of Bribie Island’s important role during World War II
- the story of internationally renowned artist Ian Fairweather.
Visitors can explore the intriguing and unique history of Bribie Island through various immersive, interactive displays and a variety of exciting events and workshops.
