Card Houses

Presented By Harrison Mills and Anywhere Festival

Have you ever house-sat during a pandemic?”

Jules is a bold, talkative young woman whose strong opinions attract conflict like a magnet. Mason’s a scruffy, easy-going young man that prefers simplicity and no friction. They have nothing in common except their mutual friend Georgia and being 19.

However, a cruel twist of fate sees these polar opposites locked in together during a Covid Lockdown in West End with no escape. What will they do? Laugh? Cry? Be bored out of their minds?

This immersive production from Harrison Mills sees a Fresh Gen-Z Coming of Age tale between adolescence and adulthood. Youthful, witty, and vulnerable with an emo tinge, Card Houses delves into how young people “survived” during previously unprecedented times.

This Performance is at House Conspiracy, a homely arts community centre and not-for-profit located at 42 Mollison St within Brisbane’s central West End Area.
