Anywhere Moreton Bay EOI Page - Anywhere Festivals

Council has partnered with Anywhere Festival since 2021, bringing stories and performances to locations across the region.

Following the festival's success in 2023, Council has invested in Anywhere Festival's return in 2024. During the festival, local spaces are activated and performing arts and entertainment experiences expand into communities in new ways!

From tattoo parlours, wineries and beachside parks to breweries and cafés, from 9 - 26 May 2024, the region will come to life with Anywhere Festival - bringing you performances in interesting locations, anywhere in Moreton Bay.

Local businesses, community spaces and personal homes can submit their interest to host through the Anywhere Festival website.

Expressions of Interest for 2024 are closed

Take creative risks without the financial burden of venue hire by presenting performances with host venues anywhere but a theatre - wineries, cafes, breweries, lounge rooms, gymnasiums and more in the 2024 Anywhere Festival Moreton Bay.

Our program will be curated from expressions of interest. If your EOI is successful you will be invited to proceed as a ticketed independent production in the 2024 Anywhere Festival Moreton Bay.

Expressions of Interest will be evaluated based on the principles of Anywhere Festival. We are looking for live performances that activate a unique location and deliver a fantastic experience for the audience.

Once your expression of interest has been given the thumbs up, you have until mid February (see key dates below) to work with us to lock in all your show, venue and scheduling details.

If you are accepted, there is a registration fee ($295) and a 10% commission on Box Office payable to Anywhere Festival. This registration and commission includes:

Ticketing system and Box Office support
Inclusion in all marketing collateral and online channels
Full e-learning course for independent producers

The registration fee can be paid as an upfront fee or by instalments. There will be the option for some selected acts to present in partnership with Anywhere Festival with a 30%-70% Box Office split (majority to you) instead of the upfront payment required dependent on the show. the option will be confirmed after Expression of Interest discussions.

In 2024, a dedicated Creative Producer for the Moreton Bay program will be available to guide and mentor you through the process and the Moreton Bay Festival Team will work to support the overall festival.

Independent productions are responsible for all elements of their show including production, marketing and publicity.

There is no cost to express interest. You can enter more than one idea and we strongly encourage you to talk to us first about your ideas.

Expressions of Interest: close 29 October

Anywhere Festival uses the Eventotron platform to gather expressions of interest. Once you have decided to submit an expression of interest, the next step is to create a login for Eventotron and complete the Expression of Interest form within the system.
