A musical celebration of Brisbane’s cultural diversity
Sound Embassy are a trio of world-class Brisbane musicians melding Eastern and Western influences with improvisation at the heart of their performances. Sound Embassy features classical guitarist Anthony Garcia, virtuoso jazz pianist Tnee Dyer and the foremost Nepalese-born tabla percussionist in Australia, Dheeraj Shrestha.
A diverse medley of musical training and cultural backgrounds, Sound Embassy’s three musicians share a dedication to close listening and improvisation. The group recently featured on 612ABC radio in a live performance, and received an overwhelming response with listeners and presenters praising their “stunning” and “beautiful” sound. This concert in Museum of Brisbane’s Dome Lounge will be a celebration of our city’s cultural diversity, inspired by the award-winning exhibition 100% Brisbane. A one-off concert experience not to be missed.
