Playing Pretend tells the stories of a group of young, newly-trained actors on their road to stardom… or at least, they’d like to be. Unfortunately, fate has other plans. After graduating, they’re left at a loose end, desperately trying to find work, meaning and their place in the world. Caught in a creative vacuum, they find themselves forced to reconsider everything they thought they knew about themselves, with one big question looming large over them – Where do we go from here?
Featuring (mostly) true stories, Playing Pretend is a hilarious and heartfelt take on the highs and lows of life as young artist trying to find a way to reconcile aspiration with reality.
