I wanted to talk about death

The ARTS UQ

A show about life, death and the choices in between

“With all the debates around the topic of human rights we’ve covered things such as ‘who should have the right to live’ and ‘who should have the right to marry’, but still haven’t come to a consensus. ‘I Wanted to Talk About Death’ is ‘who should have the right to die’.

Why would you be buried outside of a church yard if you commit suicide? Why is euthanasia not legal? When is the borderline between ‘struggling to live’ and ‘awaiting death’ crossed? And, importantly, in big capital letters, WHO SHOULD GIVE THE RIGHT TO DIE?”
