A celebration of circus fun and delight.
A troupe of young artists emerge from the distance. Sounds of a marching band, circus acrobats and dancers bring the spirit of creativity back to our streets. It’s an explosion of colour and community.
Twilight Circus is the second performance outcome for Circus Ipswich’s six-month Street Circus project which aims to highlight circus as an accessible artform and showcases the talents of young people (from both the Circus Ipswich Foundation program and the Umbrella Circus program for Special Abilities), local school students, and internationally acclaimed and award-winning professional artists.
Grab your friends, family and popcorn. Come and support the local heroes of your community!
The Street Circus Project is a collaboration between Circus Ipswich, the Chelsea McGuffin Ensemble and Ipswich State High School.
