Transit Tales is series of short, improvised scenes exploring stories of passengers waiting for public transport. Each show is unique: performers will take inspiration from the audience to craft tales using humour, drama and emotion. Relationships will begin, strengthen, change and end over the course of a few minutes.
This Pigasus Productions debut features performances by Sabina Nowak, Michael Jell, Noelle Greenwood, and our Captain, Cam Percy.
Shows are timed to enable attendance by CityCat (for the West End/Brisbane performances) or train (for Caboolture/Moreton Bay).
Transit Tales will be performed on the traditional unceded lands of the Gubbi Gubbi, Jagera and Turrbal peoples. We acknowledge their Elders past, present and emerging, and the role of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as Australia’s first artists.

ACCESSIBILITY INFO
Both the West End Ferry Terminal and the Caboolture-Wamuran Rail Trail are publicly accessible Council-owned locations that have been recently renovated. There is flat ground and ramps to access the sites and some seating is available as part of the facility. Once the seats are filled, some audience members may need to stand for up to 20 minutes. The West End Ferry Terminal has wheelchair accessible toilets on site. The Caboolture-Wamuran Rail Trail has no toilets on site: nearest toilets are accessible and located at the Caboolture Train Station or Caboolture Town Square. The shows will not be using amplification or additional lighting. Children are welcome with parental guidance (performers will endeavour to avoid age-inappropriate themes).
