Presented by Improv Queensland and Anywhere Festival.
Come, stay a while and listen. It’s time to don the adventures mantle and begin your journey of heroism in The Starting Zone!
The Starting Zone puts you in the show’s lead as you interact with the local villagers as much or as little as you want but there is loot for those who can help. Solve their problems, best their enemies, meet their loves and ignore the quest about killing all the rats in the basement and hang out at the Ye Olde Tavern, it’s your choice!
Improv Queensland (formerly known as ‘ImproMafia’) was founded in 2004 to spread and celebrate the joy of improvised performance, unscripted theatre and immersive experiences. From our humble beginnings on pub stages, we’ve grown to become a multiple award wining theatre company and Brisbane’s best-known improvisation company. We performing locally and internationally, participating in major festivals across Australia and the rest of the world.
This performance is at the GabbaXchange near the Woolloongabba Busway at 400 Vulture St Kangaroo Point.

Acknowledgement of Traditional Custodians
We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we present Anywhere Festival, the Kabi Kabi/Gubbi Gubbi, Jinibara, Turrbal and Yuggera Peoples. We wish to pay respect to their Elders - past, present and emerging - and acknowledge the important role Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their stories continue to play.
