That’s Life: The Improvised Comedy Show

Presented by Rebel Lyons

"I killed my sister for a cheeseburger!" and other skits inspired by insane headlines

In an era where scandalous stories are constantly accessible on social media, printed magazines are facing certain extinction unless they can hook readers in with their headlines. These have become as intriguing as they are bizarre…

“A PLATYPUS put me in hospital!”

“AUSSIE SURVIVOR: BURNED ALIVE by my NIGHT LIGHT”

“AUSSIE SHOCK: birth control implant PIERCED my heart”

…are some examples of the headlines we will be bringing to life in a night of improvised comedy chaos.

Rebel Lyons and her gang of clowns have scoured Brisbane’s hair salons and doctors’ waiting rooms to bring you a night of camp theatrics and belly laughs.

And if you don’t have a good time, NO REFUNDS: That’s Life!
