Embrace the unexpected when Anywhere Festival takes over Fish Lane Arts Precinct, Thursday 4 May from 6.30pm.
Fish Lane Arts Precinct is a vibrant and bustling part of South Brisbane with street art, lighting, restaurants and bars. In this takeover at one of Brisbane’s best Precincts, Anywhere Festival brings live music, dance and theatre to the laneway.
At this one night only activation, wander and explore performances under railway lines, street corners, garden pockets and be immersed in the festival atmosphere to kick off 2023 Anywhere Festival.
Catch pop-up performances by A Drop Too Many, Incendia and I’m Not Entirely Here on the corner of Fish Lane & Hope Street, and Mirror Mirror In The Mall and Eco-Warrior: A Climate Cabaret on the corner of Fish Lane & Merivale Street.
Plus, meet roving performers Häns on Experience, Living Shakespeare, How To Survive A Zombie Apocalypse and Banshee’s Luck.

Acknowledgement of Traditional Custodians
We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we present Anywhere Festival, the Kabi Kabi/Gubbi Gubbi, Jinibara, Turrbal and Yuggera Peoples. We wish to pay respect to their Elders - past, present and emerging - and acknowledge the important role Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their stories continue to play.
