MEAT MIRROR asks what is beauty, what is horror?
Through absurdity and humour MEAT MIRROR tackles the alarming normalisation of life-threatening surgical enhancement.
MEAT MIRROR throws gullibility, butchery, beauty, Orwellian satire, aquamusicals, and schlock horror into the blender and presses ‘go’.
Visit the Installation next door at Mappin Nursery “Share House” during Opening hours 9am-5pm Monday to Saturday and 10am-4pm Sunday from 8-30 May.
Free 9 minute performances part of the installation are ticketed to ensure COVID Safety.
This new collaboration between acclaimed artists Jay Younger and Lisa O’Neill combines performance, sound design, video + animation in a surreal aquatic wonderland at Mappin’s Nursery.
