From the team that brought you five sold-out seasons for the Anywhere Festival, comes this 20-cent bag of mixed lollies…..except they’re songs.

In a grand departure, inspired by Tiny Desk concerts and a road trip listening to ’70s Billy Joel albums, one of Brisbane’s queens of song, Anje West, is stepping away from her longtime band, and inviting you into her cozy parlour to share some of the music that has stayed with her since childhood.

From Warren Zevon and Linda Ronstadt to Wings and Tom Petty, expect the musical paths less-traveled as Anje, accompanied by her six piece band, winds her way through songs that have become permanent tenants, living rent-free for years in her heart.

Will the band even fit in the room? Is nostalgia still a thing?

Your ticket price includes the pre-show hospitality of the house, but please feel welcome to BYO if you’d like to enjoy a beverage post-show.

    Things you need to know or bring

    The property is a stone's throw from the South Brisbane (Dutton Park) Cemetery. Easily accessed by public transport, and lots of on-street parking. The venue is accessed via the driveway at the side of the house, leading to the backyard patio and pre-show tiki bar gathering space. There is is small incline from the gutter to where the driveway becomes flat. Not Licensed to serve alcohol. No food available.
