Presented by Brigitte Freeme
An immersive play set in and around a courthouse, comprising the narratives of nine different women, each one a walking contradiction.
Making its debut in ‘Wynnum Fringe Festival’ in November 2020, I Am Woman, Hear Me is back on the stages of Brisbane, bigger and better than ever.
This piece features nine students studying a Bachelor of Acting at Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University. Together, they have worked to develop a show that contributes to current discussions surrounding women in the arts and media, a discussion close to their hearts.
The characters they have created are true reflections of the feminine experience. Hear their stories as they explore and celebrate the complexities of being a woman.
