Join this adventure and discover the green corners of your region you don’t know so well. A vehicle arrives, a performance tumbles out and you are engaged in brilliant compact circus for post-pandemic times. Investigating the fragility of our landscapes in the face of human impacts.
Disappearing Acts explores loss of biodiversity through circus, clowning, and magic sleight of hand.
Developed in collaboration with environmental scientist, Ayesha Tulloch, Disappearing Acts unpacks the scientific principal of testing questions and building evidence to assess what might be missing from our landscapes. It is quirky and skilled circus performance that asks us to reflect on our relationship with nature, how we value the birds, insects, trees and wild spaces that support them.
Bring cushions and blankets, for casual on-ground seating, or your own chair. All venues are on grassy areas.
