Through anonymous surveys, Bourke & Heather discovered the impact of the fitness, dieting, health & wellness industries. We decided to create a performance which voices real stories through verbatim statements while also depicting a storyline which is reflective of many people’s experiences with these industries. Detox aims to provide insight into how the quest for wellness can send one down a rabbit hole into illness.
