Presented by Lorikeet Players
UNFORTUNATELY, WE HAVE BEEN INFORMED BY LORIKEET PLAYERS THAT THE SHOW WILL NOT BE HAPPENING.
Blistering comic satire with captions and live music.
Denis, the cinema manager, would rather not ruin an English film by captioning it. But one day he screens an open captioned movie with surprise finale.
Writer and performer Marissa Ker shapeshifts across the Bouffon archetypes, playing Denis, Joseph, a deaf man with a cochlear implant and Matilda, a signing deaf woman.
Come and plant your bum on a seat! You will be deliciously provoked!
Directed by Clint Bolster. From the writer of How Far Do You Wanna Go? (Anywhere Festival 2017).
Food and drink available for purchase.
