Dara Donnelly is a non-binary human channeling the spirit of Gary Barlow.
In the waking hours, Dara identifies as a BRAND DOULA – a trained companion who champions and guides businesses through a significant identity-related experience.
By night, the anguish of growing up as a queer, non-binary boy-band aficionado in a sea of Camilla Kaftans and private school formals is gently cradled by the artful strumming of their acoustic guitar.
Solo expeditions across many continents spawned a wisened version of this design/tech/brand specialist, with the capacity to listen more than most, hold space for others’ trauma and bravely explore the craggy depths where another’s true soul is hiding.
They also love peanut butter and roast tomatoes on toast and are very font aware.
Shed Talks: Human Stories from the Heart is a new performance concept devised by Peta O’Hara (The Butiner), supported by local performing arts company Red Chair. Presented as an immersive storytelling experience, Shed Talks are about creating a space to share unique stories of extraordinary human experience – the stories that set us apart, the stories we keep close, the
stories that connect us.
