Pop the Bubbly, Miss 50! Party like a cool Auntie!
Amy- 50 and dream-life jinxed! Grabs life by the balls and parties like a cool aunty on a musical, memoir merry-go-round!
Amy is still single at 50! Society says ‘tick-tock!’ This one-woman musical bursts with joy, humour and warmth as Amy ditches the society script and husband-house-baby package dream! Self-help books, bad dates, and jazzy tunes lead her on a riotous merry-go-round ride to redefine “fifty and fabulous” – her way!
Is fifty really fabulous? Ummmm?? Maybe not. Meet our hostess, Amy, 50 and single is determined to find the perfect husband, house, and baby. Armed with self-help books, well-meaning friends, dating apps, and her loyal companion, Wine, Amy takes us on a comical and heartwarming journey through the ups and downs of dating Gen X style in the new millennium. Set to a lively mix of swing, bossa nova, cha cha cha, tango, and gospel music, Amy navigates the societal pressure to settle down and find ‘the one’. Join Amy as she breaks free from society’s expectations about true love.
