Redcliffe Musical Theatre – the Moreton Bay Region’s Premier Music Theatre Company – and ROAR Academy are proud to be supporting the Anywhere Festival and they are delighted to close the Festival with an uplifting and thoroughly enjoyable selection of popular BROADWAY hits performed by the Moreton Bay Region’s finest performers under the direction of Madeleine Johns (President and Founder of RMT) and accompanied by a small orchestra under the direction of Rhonda Davidson-Irwin (from Viva La Musica). What a wonderful venue for this performance of BROADWAY BY THE BEACH – at 3pm on Sunday 4th June at the Redcliffe Outdoor Amphitheatre, right on the beach. Imagine listening to such numbers as – DEFYING GRAVITY from Wicked, DO YOU HEAR THE PEOPLE SING from Les Miserables, THE CIRCLE OF LIFE from The Lion King, EX-WIVES from Six, the musical, NAUGHTY from Matilda, CAT-LIKE TREAD from The Pirates of Penzance, DANCING QUEEN from Mamma Mia, WALK LIKE A MAN from Jersey Boys, IT’S RAINING MEN from Priscilla and many more – this will be a wonderful celebration of music and song to close the Festival with over 50 local performers and musicians involved.
