A Matter of Material

It’s funny how materials earn the label of ‘disposable’. But what if their stories continued after consumption, co-existing in a junkyard world... AND if it was a catalyst for an ecological disaster, creating creatures like a plastic bag man, hungry for man-made material? How would this disturb the harmony of nature?

29 May 2022 @ 5:00 pm

Presented by:

Maisie Crosdale and Anywhere Festival

A MATTER OF MATERIAL explores what happens when our consumerist culture is reflected back to us by the things we created, consumed and cast away. It’s ‘A Matter of Material’ one would say.

This non-verbal performance engages with puppetry, object theatre and classical music to communicate our message through an accessible and unique storytelling form perfect for universal audiences.
