Karen Wallwork

Karen wallwork

Karen Wallwork fell in love with Beachmere in 2016.
To make her walks around town more interesting she gathered historical facts & stories thinking that one day she might write a Beachmere walking brochure. Little did she realise that this would launch her into the world of historical research. The result has been two books on Beachmere’s Collective Memory, U3A walks, library talks, history displays, chats on radio and now a unique performance as part of the Anywhere Festival 2023 with stories & art from “Beachmere Revisited”

Recent feedback – “Karen is an entertaining speaker and definitely loves what she does”
